Let’s face it, there are a lot of real estate agents out there! You definitely have a choice. We all have different strengths and weaknesses. What I like to think is my biggest strength is that I REALLY care about my clients -they are not just another transaction to me. Buying or selling a home can be a very stressful situation and as an agent I try to educate my clients not only in the market but of the process and what to expect. A very wise mentor of mine says “Expectations are met when they are understood “. That is why I sit down with my clients to get to know them.. to understand their real estate goals and to make sure their expectations are something that I think I can meet. This is done before we ever go out to look at homes or before I list their home. It is so important that the agent and the clients are realistic about their real estate goals and the plan to achieve them. My personal goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for my clients. I have been a licensed agent for over 20 years. My experience in banking, residential and commercial property management, title abstracting, conducting real estate closings, as well as acting as an acquisition agent for government agencies allows me to provide assistance to my clients in every step of the process. Each client is given the guidance (without pressure) they need to make the best real estate decision for their family. No one needs to be told when they have found “THE” home, they know it! I am a firm believer in doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. Therefore I treat my clients as I would want to be treated..with patience, respect, and honesty. I have professional relationships with a number of home inspectors, lenders, title companies, etc..that provide assistance to my clients if needed.I hold my client’s hands and walk them through as much or as little of the process as they like. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, I moved to Nashville in 1990 without knowing anyone or anything about Nashville. I understand the importance of taking time to find the right home and strive to provide my clients with the knowledge to make their best home choice. My clients have ranged from first time home buyers to professional athletes. My goal is to build relationships that last well beyond a closing.
